| I'm starting to camp Simurgh tod today with my mule i felt i should probly post it here since i'm not on vent much out of events if anyone is available once i find out the tod i'd very much apreciate any help anyone could lend me with it Generaly, i hear it is not a very tough NM 4 ppl are able to take it down but since its not something i have experience with, i'm not sure that will be enough
Notes about this NM: - it has neer 100% accuracy and very high evasion even without feather barrier up - can use: horde lullaby, carnage elegy, magic finale, and drawn in - has around 45k hp - uses mighty strikes - window of 21-24Hrs - pops neer the new ACP NM goblin in rolanberry fields, which may make the tod more known than usual - no known elemental resistances, seems highly suceptable to ice based spells such as paralyze - rages after 20 minutes |

| A balanced party of 4 should have little difficulty defeating Simurgh. More is better, of course, but that should be enough. I'll be happy to help fight it. |

| I'll be there if we find ToD. I want one too for my THF.
I've killed this 5-6 times but have never seen the drop. Things can get pretty ugly after it rages so it needs to be brought before that.
A good starting point for a party setup is NIN or THF for tanking, BRD or RDM, heavy DD, second support job (BRD, RDM, WHM). Haste on tank is crucial. Dispel/Magic Finale is pretty important because of feather barrier. Keep the mages out of AOE-sleep range and you're ready to "Roc".

| Mets and I almost duo'd this guy, if it weren't for the lack of damage we would have had him. Really easy, just keep a mage/whm out of range to wake people up and erase. Poison pots would probably make this a bit easier as well. It spammed horde lullaby lol |

| Wow, that's epic fail on the part of that other group. Was it raged by that point, or were they just that bad? |

| Good point. Maybe we should have a private forum for TODs? |

| Cant filter people out, once you are signed up and a member of the forum you can see all. I spent hours trying to figure out how to filter people the other day for that reason. | |

| I'm just glad I came back online before going to work - not usually on at that time. Paralyze II and Slow II were pretty crucial - I can't count the number of times he was paralyzed. Congrats Cal!
Would like to get the drop for my THF too (as I assume Tasya would as well). Gone 1/6 now (the one drop being Cal's).
